well for about the past 1 1/2 of using Vegas I used to just ignore this but now im started to get tired of it. When I capture the video...and when its done recording its like part of the top half of the video shows up a little bit on the bottom. but than i fixed that with the alignment thing and not there is a black line at the top but some of the video is not showing up. sorry if its hard to understand this but i cant really expalin it that well

Are you using Firewire to capture? What is your video source? Can you provide a link to a picture of the problem?

you cant notice it that much. but you see at the bottom of the video is part of the top of the video. like on the bottom you can see part of the guys boot and the sky from where it gets cut off at the top. No im not using firewire. I have a Dazzle DVC50 that connects to my VCR

What's your source and how is it all configured. I've seen something similar when capturing analog via composite into my camcorder AV-DV and firewired back out to my PC. It turned out not to be Vegas at all, but tracking on a VCR. DGrob
