Question about moving.

I have a Sony Vaio. I love it, that's all well and good. It came with Screenblast Soundforge, which I use for my job (comedian) to record myself and see what needs work and what doesn't.

I got a Dell Inspirion 1100 Laptop recently and I was wondering if I could move Screenblast Soundforge from the Vaio to the Dell?

I already bought it, so there really shouldn't be copyright problems or anything. I have the demo of Screenblast Soundforge on the Dell, but, low and behold, you can't save anything. I guess that's the moneymaking part, huh?

Any solutions, or can I even do it, legally (I want to keep it legal, here.)

As long as you are the primary user of both computers and you won't be using the software on both simulaneously, you may enter the serial number and activate it on both. This is stated explicitly in SONY's license agreement.

It sounds like it came bundled with his sony laptop. I'm curious if the serial wiil work to activate the demo on the dell. He may also have a problem activating the mpg encoder. I'm not even sure of the mpg encoder is included in the demo.

Let us know how this works out.
