I've been using Infiniticam today for the first time and all worked as expected, not quite the same experience as a real switcher but good enough to get the job done and probably as good as it can be with Vegas.
Now question is what about CC. Today I had two cameras to deal with. One 3 hour DVCAM tape and 4 MiniDV tapes from the other camera.
Now the second camera was in serious need of some CC, to save time I figured on adding CC to just that cameras track, just enough to get it close, time was very much of these essence....
Question is when Infiniticam or any of the other packages build the the master track, what happens to any FXs applied at track or event level to the camera tapes, are they carried across?
Yes I know I should RTFM but I'm trying to compare capabilities of all the offerings.
Bob.
