Question about multiple paths

Hi, I'm using VEGAS Pro 14 and trying to use paths to select/cut out a selection between multiple paths. Not sure how to go about doing this though.

I want to cut out only the selection BETWEEN my paths (the white/blue circle-ish shape basically).

In motion. I'll have to keyframe this a lot.

Well the motion tracking is a separate issue -- and consider that I am not an expert on compositing, but learning like you -- I think you need two masks on two tracks to do what you want. One positive for the inner circle on Track one. One negative for the outer circle under it on Track 2. . There may be other and better ways.
