I've looked throught the manual and online tutorial but I seem to figure out how to mute only a certain part of audio.
WHen I do push mute, it mutes the entire project.
Mute event(s) on a track
- Rightclick event and select |Switches | Mute
- Or drag top of event window down (reduce event gain to zero)
- or create another track and temporaily move the event to that, and mute track.
- or .... probably other ways I haven't thopught of !
"mute an entire track for one spefic clip"
This wording does not make much sense. (English as a second language perhaps)
If you are trying to mute a duration of an audio track on the timeline; (for instance to match the duration a video event) one could:
- draw a volume envelope on the audio track. (shortcut: "V" on keyboard)
- split/divide the audio track. (shortcut: "S" on keyboard) at the In and out points then delete that portion of the newly created audio event or reduce the volume to Inf. (click-drag the top of the audio event downward) No Bull!
