Question about Quicktime

I'm having a problem rendering a project Im working on to Quicktime. The format is in NTSC DV Widescreen. It renders fine in any other file format but when I try to render to Quicktime it stretches it out and has no cropping. Play the same file in any other media player and it looks great. Just not Quicktime. My question is do I need to have Quicktime Pro in order to do this or is the regular Quicktime causing this. Im at a loss. Any Ideas? I need to export this over to a studio on Final Cut and they would prefer it is in Quicktime.
Thanks

I've never tried this before but are you selecting the 1.212 Pixel Aspect ratio option (Custom - Video) before rendering?

Yes. 1.212 Pixel Aspect Ratio. Custom template. Whick works for all other file types. Just not in quicktime. At first I thought I had the project aspects messed up but I don't think that's it. I even took a rendered version of a .AVI that was letterboxed and tried to write it as a .MOV but still no luck. I cant get Quicktime to letterbox it.
