Question for Veggie Toolkit users

I see with MultiRender I can render All Events, but it appears that this will only work for 1 video track. Am I mistaken? I want to render ALL events in a veg, then have the newly rendered files replace the original files. Is this possible, and if so, does someone have a workflow for this?

Often I'm loading many hour-long interview clips into a veg file, using Multi-Cam to sync two camera tracks, then cutting out portions of those synced events. I may only keep 5-8 minutes from those two original hour-long clips. So I'm trying to use Toolkit to render those edited events, then replace the large original files with the new rendered clips (which are much smaller on my hard drive).

Vegas has a function for this built in. Under File / Save as, save as a new .veg file and check the Copy media with project box. In the next window choose Create trimmed copies of source media.

Note that this works with DV, but not with MPEG-esque media.

Funny you mention that... I was on the fence about buying Toolkit, but I read a posting here recently stating what you just mentioned. I'm planning on using this ability for HDV mpeg files and also Cineform files, so I don't think that the built-in function will work in the long run for me.
