Question on DVD Masters

I have a client that wants me to create a DVD Master for their project so that the DVDs can be produced by a duplication house.

I went thru the steps to produce the Master with DVD Architect 4.5 and that went fine. My question is, do I just simply need to provide the folder & files that Architect produced to the client? It made a folder named LAYER_0 with 3 files - CONTROL, DDPID, and IMAGE inside.

Is that all that is needed for the duplication house to produce the complete DVD? If so, I assume I can just put those in a zipped file and let the client download and they are ready to take to the dupe house. Right?

Thanks for your help...

Since nobody's posted a reply I'll make a guess [that I'm afraid unintentionally sounds like a smarta**] that the safest bet is to contact the duplication facility and ask them what they want/prefer. Many folks just create a writable disc for their master, & the facility works from that -- IMHO the only reason for the tape master was the lack of burners originally & the original poor quality of writable discs; the DVD spec does date back about a decade I think.

I have had some experience with a duplication house. They preferred a master DVD with a signed release and artwork file. I FedEx'd it to them and they did the rest. I hope this helps. Scott
