Question on settings ?

I transfered a VHs video into Vegas Movie and the video was only 1 hour and 43 minutes,. After rendering it was 6.1 mb ? My machine is aSony Pent 4 with 512 ram and a free 160 hd for my video. It took me 9 1/2 hour to render it ? And then it didnt fit on one disc ?

Help !!!!

When you did the rendering, what format did you render to? MPEG2 for burning on DVD?

The size you mention must be 6.1 Gb (Giga Bytes) and not Mb (Mega Bytes)

It sounds about right if that is a MPEG2 file. You will not be able to fit that lenght of video on a DVD disc. You would normally be able to fit 1 hour if you don't go crazy with disc menus etc.

I hit make movie on menu and create DVD. I think tha tis what my problem was. Then it went to Dvd Arch. then i rerendered it to fit on a dvd. I meant gb on the file size. I appreciate your help :-)
