question re. ACID loops

I can open up and play the loops that come with the free 8-packs on the VASST site and use them, however, there is also included a composed tune using those loops that I can play, but it will not open and play in my ACID program.
Is that intentional so that we can't use that tune? I would like to be able to open it in my ACID timeline and change it and use it for one of my videos.

Which version of Acid do you have? I think all the current 8-pack tunes require the newest version.

That is correct. Starting a month or two ago, the 8 pack .ACD files require ACID 5.
