Questions about editing very small clips

NoBull408 wrote on 5/22/2009, 11:21 AM
I have a series of shots in my movie and the problem is, I have them all edited but moving them and placing them together is becoming a hassle because they either, overlap each other, end up crossfading (which I think I should do to save time) or become out of order.

Does anybody have a simpler solution?

THANKS!

Have you tried increasing the size of the timeline view [I'm assuming you have the clips on the time line]?
Using the + / - buttons on the lower right corner of the timeline window - This will increase the size of the clips making it easier for you to manipulate them.

Select all the events you want to move together.
Hit "G" to create a group.
Turn Off "Ignore Event Grouping"

The events will now stay together and move as one.

Excellent! I actually used both pieces of advice.

Thank You,
