Hey, i was just watching one of my favorite bands music video and thought that some of the effects and stuff are really cool. My questions are how can i do the scribble out the eyes and everything else they scribble out, how can i have like the person in no color but have the background in color (preferablly withought rotoscoping), And last but not least in the part where the two guys are singing, neer the first how do they do that (it has like colored offset bars and crazy stuff). Well, i'll post the link. Any help on how to do this is greatly appreciated. Later

Ok, the scribble.
Method 1. You could make 12 different scribble stills with alphachannel in Photoshop and import them to Vegas as a sequence and make sure alpha channel is enabled. Then use pan/crop to move the animation around when the actors eyes move. I think they've used motion tracking in the vid but that's not available in Vegas.

Method 2. First edit the whole video. Then take frame by frame snapshots of the sequences that you want to scribble on. Make sure the preview window is att optimal size and quality. Open the snapshots in Photoshop or eqivalent and scribble directly on every frame. With clips that short it wouldn't take too long. Import as image sequence and place the new clip on a track above at the appropriate time.

The colored offset thing I leave to others.
