Just a quick update: First off I would like to thank both hugoharris and 4thorder for such quick responses to my post. The info they gave me regarding getting rid of the edgy lines around my jpeg
stills on the timeline solved my problem. Thank You both so much!!!!

I do have yet one more question regarding mixed media on the timeline and how it effects your settings in the Project Properties diaolog box, but I'll try to do a search first to see if this has been addressed before.
