QuickPan was inspired by Roger_74’s QuickEnvelope and is based on that code. It does for Panning what QuickEnvelope does for Volume. I have added additional behaviors so that lead in and lead out cannot exceed the selection length. If they do, I trim them back to half the selection length minus a millisecond. QuickPan will also adjust the end points of existing envelopes that lie within the selection. So you can overlay a pan left on top of a pan right and it will adjust the outermost edges of the pan right to blend with the pan left.
The QuickPan dialog contains a slider for adjusting the amount of pan from 100% left to 100% right. The Zero button will quickly get you back to the Center position. The lead in/out slider will adjust the amount of leadin or leadout in 100 millisecond increments. If you’d like to save your values so that QuickPan doesn’t start at zero next time, check the Save checkbox. QuickPan will use the saved values as the starting values the next time you invoke it.
It can be found on the Vegas Scripts page of my website. I hope you find this script useful.
