QuickTime and Vegas Video 2.0h?

Hi,

I would like to import and render .MOV files. The read me stated that I would need to download the "authoring tools" for quicktime at apple's website. I just can't seem to find the files I need to download. Does anyone have a clue on what I need to download from apple to allow .MOV's to work in Vegas Video 2.0h? Thanks!

Hi,

Well after posting I figured it out. 8)
Here is what I did to get the Quick Time Authoring software. I downloaded Quick Time 5.02 from Apple's website and installed. After it had been installed I did the following:

Click Start,
Settings,
Control Panel,
Quicktime,
Select Update check drop box,
Select Update and install additional Quick Time software,
Click Update button,
Click Custom,
Check the Quick Time Authoring update component,
Click Update button.

This downloaded the needed Authoring software. Note: I have windows ME and I did purchase the Quick Time Pro package. I hope this helps others!
