quicktime audio files

Is it possible to use quicktime audio files such as iTunes songs in vegas movie studio or is that illegal?

If the songs are purchased via the iTunes Store and you have no license to use them for anything but personal listening, then it's illegal. Additionally, if the song is DRM'ed and not "iTunes Plus", then you won't be able to do that at all, as only Apple products can play these files.

So if I were to upgrade my songs too iTunes Plus, I would beable to use them on vegas movie studio and it would be legal?

Might be able to use them in Vegas. Probably still wouldn't be legal.
