Quicktime compression with Sorenson

Has anybody out there gotten the level of video quality in a Quicktime file (compressed with the Sorenson or Sorenson 3 codec in Vegas 2.0) as seen on the Quicktime site, the Sorenson Media site, iFilm.com, etc?
I can't. Not remotely. I want to. Badly.

No, I don't use Sorenson Pro. I gather it is not possible to achieve the quality seen on the Sorenson website with just what's included in Vegas. A I right?
Sorenson Pro is what's needed to get it?
