I have a mov file on a cd - labeled Quicktime HD1. It is a large file - 6000+ megabytes for about 10 seconds!. I have software which tells me it is "Quicktime for Linux 24 bits 1024 X 768"
When I try to add it to a Vegas 6d project I get a message "Video:Stream attributes could not be determined" and I cannot add it.
I have done Google searches looking for a codec which might be relevant to this but no success.
I am surprised to find my old lower end Roxio Media Creator 7 which I haven't otherwise used for some time will load it and will render it to a reasonable result. Siminlarly my dvd authoring program Ulead DVD Workshop 2 can make a reasonable output from it. However the editing abilites of the Roxio or the Ulead are much less than the Vegas - if I can get it into a project.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
Calvin
