Whenever I try to play quicktime files it crashes my system. I recently upgraded to Vegas 8.0. I haven't really used it. I had no problems with MOV files in Vegas 7.0. I had the newest version of Quicktime 7.3 something. Both Quicktime and Vegas will not play the MOV files and they crash my system. They lock up the system and Task Manager will not allow me to terminate the process. Whats going on? Do I need the paid version? Still, the player should play my MOV files. Is there any other co-dec I can use that will allow Vegas to play and make MOV files? If I can play them, at least I can convert.

This was never a problem in 7.0......I appreciate any suggestions and help.
