quicktime render problem

I have a qtime file on my timeline and if i preview it in draft or preview mode i see it fine. if i preview it in good or best i only see black. if i render this file it renders black. this only happens in v6 not 4 or 5.
any ideas?

I had a similar issue the other day... it went away either after a re-boot ot shutdown/restart of Vegas. It didn't happen again... so I stopped worrying about it. Certainly something to look out for though.

a reboot or restart doesn't help. it's always the same black render.
If i render the file in "the juicer 2" software as an avi then it's fine. it's just another step i shouldn't have to take.

If it's reproducable... then definitely submit to Sony as a formal bug. They need to repro themselves and work a fix in.
