I have been using Vegas Pro 11 for the last few years with few issues but recently bought a new custom PC and upgraded to Vegas Pro 13 suite. I have having lots of "Vegas stopped working issues" and also if I try and burn a DVD from the time line it crashes 95% of the time and says " A problem has stopped vegas working". I contact sony tech email support and they suggested I remove the new blue plug ins which came with the software and also that I updated the graphics card driver which I have done but the problems are still there. I spoke once on the phone with them and they mentioned they have had some issue with the R9 200 series graphics cards which my machine has (a R9 270x) hence the request to update the drivers. I have since told them this has not solved the problem and have been trying to find out if there is a compatiblilty issue with this card and if so what graphics card I should replace it with. Unforetunaltey they have not replied to my last message and this was 2 days ago so if anyone out there can help I would appreicate some help.My question is do i need to change my card and if so what should I buy or is there anything else I should change or look at to solve these issues.
