Ram Preview limit? Vegas 8

My memory available for Ram preview seems to be stuck at 1024, even though I just added 2 more gigs for a total of 3gigs. Previously it had 639mb available, so now I should have about 2600mb available, right?

There is a hack (search here) for editing settings file but works better under 64-bit windows. I'm using 4GB for previews on xp64

I did some Search and there was another guy with the 1024mb issue. I guess that's tops for V8, XP-32. Without some Hack, as you said.
