Go to Prefs/Video and set your RAM level to it's maximum setting.

I just found out that when I do the RAM render, it creates a one frame region, even though I double click the event before performing the ram render. And while we are in the sibject or regions, is there a way to delete them...the only way I can get rid of them is by moving the away from the events.

Grazie discovered this a little while back. Close the Pan/Crop windows first (or was it Track Motion???)

It was Track Motion.
Thanks.

Wow, questions that are on topic, it's a great relief !

About the setting, isn't that true that it's good to keep a loose 128MB (from the suggested max) for the app to run well?

tjglfr:
To get rid of Region: just right-click on the left (green) tab and choose delete.
Is that what you meant?

No, actualy is a time slection or time region, like when you mark an in and an out. Sometimes they can get in the way and I dont' know how ro get rid of it.

While I've been told by many that it's good to keep free RAM, the only reason I do it is because Photoshop is frequently open too, and it's demanding as well. But on systems that I don't have Pshop on, I'm maxed out unless I'm working with Boris or DeBugmode plugs.

This sounds like the "Grazie" discovered problem when you have the Sync Cursor enabled and try to ram-render. Try switching off the Sync Cursor.

Maybe this is what you're looking for?
In Options/Preferences/Editing check the box for "Collapse loop region when no time selection is present".

Or, perhaps this is what you want (for deleting regions): Open the "Edit Details" view. Selection "Regions" from the drop down box. Click in the empty square in the upper left corner of the display (where the row and column headers intersect). This will select all regions. Press the Delete key.

You can also select just certain rows, like you would in Excel, and then press the Delete key.
