When I I go to Audio Tab in the WMV v9 Templeatte
Unless I set the Audio as

MOD QUALITY VBR
FORMAT WINDOWS MIDEA AUDIO 9. LOSSLESS.
ATTRIBUTES VRB QUALITY 100 44 KHZ 2. CH. 16 BIT STEREO.

I can not pick Audio FREQ 44 kHz this is the only way I can get the FREQ like this.
And the same thing with the Bitrate for the Audio I can;t get 16 Bit Audio unless I use these settings.

And this is what I want CD Audio and that is 44 kHz at 16 Bit are you with me so far

Probably you want to end up with a DVD with your video on it?

If yes, then use one of the DVD Architect templates to render the project - and then burn your video to DVD using DVD Architect - then you do not need to bother with bitrates etc.

I am sorry I think we are both on to diferant pages.

When I go to Render As and then I pick WMV v9.
Then I go to Customize Tab then Under the Audio Tab I see a lot of things I can change.

I then see a Dropdown List called MODE
In this list I pick Quality VRB

Then I see another Dropdown List called FORMAT
And I pick Windows Media Audio v9. Lossless.

Then there is one more Dropdown List called ATTRIBUTES
And I set this to 44 kHz 2. CH. 16 Bit Stereo

Now I know this is CD Qwality Audio and this is ok I get this.
But why does it say Quality VRB in the MODE Dropdown List? What I meen is VBR meens Variablee Bit Rate right?
But I did not think CD Audio had Variable Bit Rates I thought CD Audio was a Constont Bit Rate??

Are you trying to make an audio CD that will play in a regular CD player? If so, you don't want anything to do with WMV.

Put your songs or music on an audio track, then click "Tools" >> "Lay Out Audio CD from Events". This will put some red markers on your timeline showing where each new song begins. Next, click "Tools" >> "Burn CD" >> "Disc at Once Audio CD". Put a blank CD in the drive and you're good to go.

If you are not trying to make an Audio CD, and you really DO want to make a windows media file (WMV -- which includes Video) then don't worry about the VBR (variable bit rate) -- it's a good thing. This is a way to compress the data so as to not waste bits when they aren't really needed. For example, a long quiet pause in the middle of a song needs almost no bits to encode and save (even lossless), while a regular audio CD uses just as much data to record "silence" as it does to record a drum solo. That's why WMV files and MP3 files (compressed formats) are so much smaller than the corresponding WAV file.

As i said before, bitrates and sample rates have nothing to do with each other. They are completely unrelated concepts.

VBR vs. CBR means absolutely nothing in relation to 44.1KHz. You can have 44.1KHz VBR, you can have 44.1KHz CBR. You can have 44.1KHz whether it's constant or variable bitrates, since the bitrate has absolutely nothing to do with the 44.1KHz sample rate.

We are really tapping in the dark :-)

What is it you want to end up with? a CD with a soundtrack? or a VideoCD? or a DVD that can play on a normal DVD player? or a DVD with your video as a datafile? or ...?

OK I am making a Video with Audio File.

But that is not why I am asking this about the Audio. I think I know what I meen to ask and I am not putting it in the right way.

I have been away from this Post and I know how to ask my Q and what I want to know.

Just the Audio Setting in the WMV v9.Profile by Defalt are set to
64kbps 44.1kHz 16bit Stereo

Now the next option in the List says
64kbps 48kHz Stereo

Weare did the 16 bit go and this goes for all of the settings. How do I know what one will be 16 bt Stereo and so on ???
