Raylight Ultra

DVFilm released Raylight Ultra today. It is a major re-write of the Raylight codec and P2 Card/DVCProHD plugin for Sony Vegas. New features include faster rendering, faster playback in the high quality mode, virtual Metadata "Slates" and 4-track audio. See dvfilm.com/raylight/ultra

64bit coming - right now I am pretty sure the product info on the website, that it's Vista or XP 32bit.

These guys have been pretty good about their support and making things work, so it's probably coming in a timely manner ( I think NewBlue are the only plug-in guys I know of that are supporting 8.1 right now - excluding scripting of course ).

Some Ultra users are using it successfully with Vista 64 and Vegas 8.0c

We haven't put Vista 64 on our "supported" list yet since we are still running our own tests. If the free trial works for you then the purchased version will probably work. Get the trial at dvfilm.com/raylight/ultra

Vegas 8.1 is in the works but we are still messing with the new plugin kit supplied by Sony.
