Re: 1st DVD

Hi all

With many thanks to this forum my first DVD has been burnt and works. Edited in Vegas 4, autthored in DVDA and burnt on an NEC NC1330 DVD+-RW.

It refused to play properly on my PC running ATI's DVD software but I think it's the software. It played on my Sony DVS 800 system and even my daughter's cheapo (Woolworth's) DVD.

There's a few issues I need to look at but that's more cosmetic than technical.

Geat forum and I will continue to look for help here and, maybe soon, be able to offer my own help to others.

Cheers

Congratulations! I still have yet to do this (no DVD burner), but i've produced a few MiniDVDs that have gone over well.

Don't worry too much about the ATI playback problems. I could barely get that software to play commercial DVDs. I've said it before and i'll say it again, ATI makes nice hardware but they should stay out of the software business ;)

What I forgot to say was I also added a Scene Selection Menu and a Music Compilation menu. Now I have a good idea of what I am doing I can try to tidy things up a bit.

Does anyone know where I can get more themes from?

Cheers

You might want to take a look at the theme editor in this thread: http://www.sonicfoundry.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?MessageID=195387&Replies=11&Page=1.
