RE: Can't render with 1280x720 YouTube resolution

Eugenia's right. My bad.

Though a simple "your version doesn't support what you're trying to do - you need to upgrade" would have sufficed, she is wholly correct in pointing out my error in not identifying the limitations of the software before I purchased it and (more importantly) before I asked questions about it here.

Hey, I think the rule is: as long as you end your post with a smiley face, no offense or ill will intended, right?

All is well... upgrading to 9.0 Platinum today.

Thanks, all!

Glad you decided to stick with it!

I had suspected you were gone for good, and the fact that you are back is a credit to your good nature and intentions.

I also expect that you will find a kinder, gentler approach to answering your questions from now on; despite what you endured, we generally don't eat our young here . . .

One can hardly fault you for buying an entry level product without knowing exactly how it fits with your needs and capabilities. And since there isn't much of an active presales discussion going on here, how could you know? At least you took a conservative approach knowing that you could upgrade later if needed.

Welcome!

I don't know your experience level, but if it's higher than average, you may want to look at the Vegas Pro upgrade -- unlimited tracks, custom rendering settings, and a whole bunch of other stuff you may wish you had later down the road.
