Re: Default Selection

Hi

I have not seen the answer to this;

I have constructed a Menu Selection and the moved the actual main menu the selection is made from to the Menu Selection so that you can choose to play the whole movie or slected scenes from the same page.

When youi navigate to this submenu the default button that is highlighted is the Parent Menu icon.

Ideally I would like the Play button I have created to play the entire movie as the default button. Can this be done?

Cheers

BTW - I have serched this forum regarding this and saw referbces that seem to point me to the fact that menu items are highlighted in the order of first created.

Is this correct?

If so, how do I make a different button appear as if it was created first as I need to make the scene selection before I move the actualk movie from the parent menu to the Sene Selection menu (of course, I have to mend all the broken links first).

Cheers

oh yee who forgets about the F1 key.. :)

go the the menu directly preceding this sub-menu (if the sub-menu is on off the main start menu, then go to the start menu. If it's 4 levels down, go to level 3, etc)

Now, single click on the button that takes you to that sub-menu. On the right you'll see an "action" tab. See "Destination button"? That is the button that will be highlighted when you go to that menu from that button you clicked on.

It will list all the button available to select. It most likely says "default." change it to what you want.

Go to the Project Overview and drag the items around into the order you want. This does not affect the position of the buttons theselves, but changes their default navigation order -- first item is the default button.
