One of my favorite movies. A story that is told on the DVD commentary about the chase scene is that they had blocked off every intersection, so there wouldn't be any accidents, but what they didn't account for is someone coming out of there house and getting in their car. All of a sudden they didn't have a closed set. I don't think anyone was hurt, but they had to buy somebody a new car.

They are also remaking another of my favorite New York movies, The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3. Tony Scott, who I'm not a fan of, is directing. We'll see how it turns out. The TV remake from a few years ago wasn't very good. Everyone should see the original too, very entertaining.
