I've followed your videos for a few months so here are my notes, the good and the bad:

Unfortunately for streaming the shatter effect didn't look that good. If you had slowed it down a lot it would have worked better for streaming (probably looked great on the TV).

slowmo of dancer was great, worked well

pips of house djs, engineers too small, left on too long. I would have started them small in one corner then zoomed them into the middle, kept them there just long enough ?, then quick fade out to background.

the pips around 1:04 took away rather than added

after those last pips:
some of the scenes after that were pure genius in timing and effects. I loved the camera bobbing up and down.

This sounds more negative than positive but it's not. I'm only referring to a few sections in the video that took away from the experience for me. Other than that I can see a quantum leap in your editing and shooting abilities from the first video you put up several months ago!

And, I'm just an avid hobbyist with hopes to do something more so take my 2 Cents for what they're worth (both of them!)

I’m not a pro so I can’t really critique shooting style or technique. I enjoyed the video and thought it was great. The only thing that detracted for me was the titles. I would have used a retro font in keeping with the theme. Perhaps something that is a bit wider and funkier. You took the time to sync the titles with the music; they deserved a better graphic quality. You might even use the Sugar Hill logo type lettering when you have their name in the title or use the KTU logo letters when KTU was in the title. I do most of my titles outside of Vegas (I use Real-DRAW Pro). Other than that I enjoyed watching it.

You did a great job synching the titles with the music. The stream was very clear and the audio sounded great. I enjoyed it very much.

Whoops! Sorry, Sonicboom. I watched the wrong video. I was critiquing the 3rd video on the Photo Gallery Page. Anybody who read my earlier post and watched the RIGHT video must have wondered if I was in MY right mind!

Anyways, I agree, this last one was pretty flawless. Flowed beautifully. Congratulations. I hear Hollywood calling!

Kool Vid! - Rocking!

Loved the pace and the "white-out" to the girls - laughed my head-off with the skinny dancing GIF [?]

Would like to have see a cutaway from the time the Big guy was talking about the venue to people dancing - Guy still talking - then cut back to him - yeah? Same for the two from the radio station [?]. YEah, there's so much one could do! Loved it. London UK here - felt like I was part of it - Can I get a cheap day return flight to NY for the next one?

Keep 'em comin'

Grazie

Nice job with the video. Would you post your 'specs' for streaming. It came through so clean. What did you render to? What kind of file size? I'd be interested in knowing what you did that worked so well.

i have struggled with this for a while
i render best quality
template: 512 kbps video
bit rate: internet/lan 500k

this is my clearest video by far
it is a big file size but the clarity is much better than previous streaming videos

Yeah, it looks real good streaming. What's that puppy come out to in bytes? Looks like with those render settings you must require a pretty good chunk of server space?
