Re-Organize VCD Info.......

Ok. Here's my question.

I have a collection of VCDs I burned a while ago. Unfortunatly, I do not have the original MPEG files.

What I want to do is take the files from the VCD and re-organize them, then re-burn a new VCD

I originally burned them with Vegas 3.0 and others with Nero. Is this possible to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use vcdgear to convert the dat files back into mpeg files. Get it at vcdhelper.com.

Insert the VCD into the CDROM.
Vegas Video 3.0c can read the .dat into the timeline.

Re-generated a new VCD file .mpg or burn direct to new VCD.

I found out that there is an improvement of the quality after passing through
the MainConcept encoder.
