I'm experiencing very poor quality on analogue capture using the Pinnanle DC10+ card. I have captured this way many times before and edited in V4 without problems but now...
Whether I drag the resultant captured AVI directly into V4 or render as AVI from Studio 7 then import the resultant file is very poor. I am getting jagged edges and/or wavy lines particularly when there is a lot of movement.
I have two dedicated ATA 133 HDDs. The only change I have made is adding a DVD rom drive as slave to the bootable HDD which is also ATA 133. Could this be causing it?
I have recaptured with the same results even increasing the caoture rate to 4200Kb/s.
Does any one have any clues as to what could be going wrong?
