re-sizing video

when in the pan/crop window, i 'm trying to make my video clip as small as possible, but there is a limit as to how small it will allow me to go. i can push the clip to have the proportions width: 5,760 and height: 3, 840, but it still is bigger than i want it-----i want it to decrease to the point where its barely visible-----any suggestions?
thank you

Try Track Motion instead. This lets you specify the size of the video clip rather than the frame it is in, and you can specify 0 for a size.

It can be done with Pan/Crop but you'll have to manually enter the numbers or, as I tested, use a script. For example, I used the PIP tool in Excalibur, told it to shrink to 1% size, and it's now a mere dot on the screen.
