Hi sb,

There are lots of sound resources online (google .wav) and locally, yer cd store may have some, the computer store, even Video Factory shipped with some S-FX.

You can also have a *lot* of fun creating S-FX: recording everyday sounds and tweeking them using reverb, slowing them down, reversing them, etc. Check yer local thrift store for junk you can whack, drop, crush or otherwise manipulate for sounds.

You might try www.ilovewavs.com - they have a search engine to all the sound effects you can imagine.

SonicBoom,

Got a site for you that have free royalty sound effects...check out their collection of door "effects" at:

http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/soundfx/Household.shtml

For their whole list:
http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/pir/PIRsfx.html

(look at left columm for the "theme" of sound effects under GENERAL SFX)

Hope this helps,

Shaun

PS: just curious - why do you always post with a title with "RE" in front?
