Just made my first VCD and quite pleased with the results but feel they could probably be improved somehow.
When viewed using the ATI VCD player that came with the graphic card at 100 or 200% the picture was fine but wasn't as good at full screen on my 19" monitor. Perhaps I should have stood a distance to view rather than the usual at the keyboard position?
But, I was led to believe from the VCDHelp web site that a 700MB CD can hold 80minutes of video but my less than 22 minute project has taken 640MB.
I did set the opetion to no Fast Rendering.
I useed the default settings for Burn -VCD.
Format; MainConcept mpeg-1
the description was;
Audio: 224 kbps, 44,100 Hz, Layer 2
Video: 25 fps, 352x288
Use this setting to create a PAL VCD-compliant MPEG-1 file.
Burn Speed was set to max and my CD Burner can do 20x and the CDs were 24x.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
