RE:Vision Autograph: alternative of VEGAS Effects?

Fu-Ji wrote on 3/3/2025, 4:06 AM

With the disappearance of the VEGAS Effects' interaction with Vegas, Vegas needs a new interactive MG/VFX/3D compositing tool.

It seems likke that Autograph is a good choice? It can be used inside OFX hosts through OpenFX api. And it possesses a full set of MG/VFX/composite features.

I'm definitely interested, will be doing some research over the next little while with their free version and go from there...

Thanks for the info @Fu-Ji

@MikeS @Blaque This is definitely a very interesting MG/VFX/3D compositing tool. And it seems to be developed by RE:Vision FX. Magix and RE:Vision FX also have a good basis for cooperation, maybe in the future there would be more in-depth cooperation?

Unfortunately, it's never gonna happen like that.

Played with it. Initial feeling v Vegas Effects: interesting, far more opaque in operation, only a partial replacement
