Reactivate MPEG2 encoder

I've had to do a couple of reinstalls in the last 1-2 years due to various problems with Windows and this time around I just put it in Windows 7 64bit and Vegas' MPEG2 encoder says I have reactivated it too many times so I have to call it in. Every time I call they are closed, is there just an email address I can send my information to? It would make this a lot easier for me. Thanks.

The Customer Service email is found through the Support link at the top of this page. They will be glad to assist you.

(btw, it usually takes more than a couple of installs to trigger this message.)

Thanks.

Can you be more specific about the number of times? I'm still using Sony Vegas 6, which I bought about Nov/Dec 2007 I think. 2009 alone saw maybe 2-3 reinstalls. I know I've had to put it back in what feels like a million times since I bought it though.

I'm hoping the rest of 2010 is kinder to me with system stability!

10 installations seems to be a more or less general consensus. If it's been installed on more than 2-3 machines however, ymmv.

10? Geez. It was actually Dec 2006 I bought it. I've only used it one computer (I've upgraded to another machine since originally buying it) and had to use it on my brother's computer once to finish a project (though I don't think I activated the MPEG2 encoder then).

I filled out a form on that site but it took a while to find and then it wanted me to create an account but I was already logged in...so I don't know if it sent or not. I'll try calling again later today I think.

I have today off so I've been calling, and every single time including a few days ago, I always get this "heavy call load" message and to just call back or email them.

I've filled out the form 3-4 times but the next step is always to create an account -- which I already have and it never confirms whether I've sent the message to customer support or not. What a joke. There has to be a better way.
