Read DataCode

Hello,
i'm using Vegas Movie Stusio 9. I've captured video from a DV Camera (Sony PC9) in a DV format. When i import such file in my vegas project, i canno see any datacode, so i cannot know the time when that movie was made.
Is there any way to see datacode fom a avi file in DV format?
Of course i'm interesting to see datacode within Vegas..

You can see the date/time stamp in the Project Media tab.

The Timecode FX doesn't get it for you. It only shows time or framecount starting from zero. Being able to access the timestamp from the video is one thing that is sorely lacking in VMS.
