There really isn't any good way. RealNetwork severely frowns on this. There were some software tools available but RealNetworks pretty much sued them out of existance. You might be able to find them on some warez sites, but i wouldn't trust anything from there.
You can use a screen capture program like camtasia to record the screen while playing the clip in RealPlayer. The other thing i've done is to play the video full screen in RealPlayer through the TV output of my video card and then recapture it through my A/V->DV converter. This was pretty lousy, but it did sorta work.
My problem is I put this clip on sony's imagestation 2 years ago And now I want to download it to make a dvd.My new computer plays and downloads with Real player and I can't figure how to change to wma.

This isn't entirely true. It is true that Real doesn't make it easy, but there are tools that allow you to recompress to a different format (and no, these tools are not warez).
In short, scroll down to the parts that have to do with the RealMediaSplitter. You might have to get your hands dirty making DirectShow filter graphs.
<EDIT>Did some testing. After installing the RealMediaSplitter, I am able to open up *some* (but not all) RealMedia files in Windows Media Player 6.4 and TMPGEnc (using the DirectShow reader). Unfortunately, Screenblast doesn't work.</EDIT>
