Realtime Chat

PipelineAudio wrote on 8/3/2000, 12:16 AM

What could be more productive, inspiring and fun than a
realtime iRC style Vegas user's chat?

Maybe we could start one on DALnet, or maybe SF's ISP could
host it

It would be great to talk to other users in
realtime...there would always be help on hand!!!

To make it fun, I propes making everyone an @p, with the
power to kick at all times
and NO bans ever allowed, except in the case of flooding
A random nuker could fire every 5 minutes to keep life
interesting

And most importantly @p dominance could be decided by
clicking on the sonic foundry Quake II server
where a deathmatch could settle disputes using the terms
of "might makes right"

Peter and Kelly could form the " Home team"

Me and Victor could be " Team Disgruntled"

Charles and David could be " Team cooler heads will prevail"

And of course the chinese boy and the twin kicks could be "
Team Punch-In "

Lets do it

The upgrades for Vegas Pro 1.0x users should appear on the Sonic
Foundry web site today (8/3/2000) or tomorrow. The upgrade from 1.0
to Vegas Audio 2.0 will cost $99. The upgrade from 1.0 to Vegas Video
2.0 will cost $199.
