Realtime FX

Just Curious, Will Vegas perform realtime FX on the time line (like not drop frames during a crossfade), if the video is uncompressed?

Depends.

How fast is your processor? What is the frame size of your project? What do you have the preview quality set for?

Have you tried it? No? Why not?

Actually, Vegas will probably perform a little bit worse with uncompressed media. It takes longer to read the extra bytes from the drive than it takes to uncompress.
