I recently purchased Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17 and installed on my two computers (desktop and laptop) On or about 8/10/21 my desktop opened with a notice that an update (Build 223) was available. I downloaded and there was no problem. I went to my laptop to try the same, and when I tried to update, it failed. It would download the file, but if I clicked on "update now" the program closed, asked for permission to update, and then gave error message "can't find file". If I clicked on "update when program closes" I closed the program, gave permission to update, and then received the error message "can't update while program is open". I have tried both methods several times, always with the same results.

Both computers are very similar, running the most recent updates of Windows 10 Pro.
