Hi Roger !

There are a lot of cards.
I only can tell you that the card I'm doing my job is GREAT !!
Is a LAYLA by Echo Electronics. She has spdif in/out and Wclock
in/out. Their resolution is 20 bits.

I can also suggest you take a trip for:

http://www.echoaudio.com/index.htm

This site you can found about LAYLA, GINA, and DARLA, and the newers
24 bit versions. (these last ones, has also ADAT optical interface).

Hope you can found what you are looking for.
Regards
Hermes

Hello Roger, the best cards for PC are: the RME DIGI 96/8 PAD with WCM
and the Lynx Studio One.
The Two cards have AES/EBU and Wordclock in/out and 24/96 of
resolution, and the RME have optical in/out compatible with Alesis
ADAT and Asio 2 drivers.

Check out the ZA2 from Zefiro Acoustics at www.zefiro.com. I have
used it for quite some time now and am very pleased with its
flexibility and sonic quality. It has 3 types of digital I/O:
(AES/EBU, optical and S/PDIF[coax]), analog out (RCA coax), will sync
to an external word clock source and records with 20-bit resolution.
It comes with some other neat features also, such as simul. rec/play,
real-time sample rate conversion, ability to back-up your hard drive
to DAT, etc. Good card.
