Recommendation for GoPro 420 10-bit Archive Codec

I have a very long gopro 420 10-bit clip with some useful footage at the very start, and a lot of useless footage after that. I'd like to edit it down to a shorter clip to save disk space for archiving, but replicate the quality level as much as possible without increasing the original 150mbps bitrate. Would like the Main Concept HDR AVC template be a good choice? Looks like that replicates the 420 10-bit format, and I can pretty much match the bit rate also. I'd like to stay within Vegas.

Try Shutter Encoder - Cut without Re-encoding function.

Using your mouse to move the start and end position doesn't work very well, it is easier to just enter the time code for start and end, or move the play head to start position and select bracket open, move play head to end cut position and select bracket closed. It will cut on closest I-frame

ProRes. The bitrate will be higher bc it's non-interframe 4:2:2, but you can probably live with it. Converting to AVC interframe is NR, but XAVC Intra would be ok, too.

Thanks for the help on this. I didn't realize there were no-recompress tools that were compatible with HEVC. Decided to go with Lossless Cut which is free at github or $19 via the microsoft store
