Recompress audio

Being about to burn I get the message : the audio of the project will be compressed.The size is 4.7 MB.Quite large.I have tried to find a way not being compressed but I dont know how to proceed.Is the size too large to fit on the CD?Any ideas of how to retain the original audio through the burning process?

What format is your audio that you ar bringing into DVDA to start with. If its not a format that DVDA can use it will have to recompress it.

In general accepted formats are:

WAV, AC3 or MP3.

Also if your audio doesn't match the project settings unless you override them in Optimise its going to convert what you've put in to what you want it to be.

Best results I've had are using AC3 stereo.

I wouldn't loose too much sleep over recompression either, VV and DVDA do a pretty fine job of it.
