record to vhs

I've just captured video from a Hi-8 camcorder into Vegas via the Canopus ADVC-100. I can't quite firgure out how to configure the system to output the video from the timeline back to a VHS tape.

I assume it must be routed through the ADVC100 also, but where is the function on Vegas that allows me to do that? Do I have to render the entire movie just like when sending to a DVD?

Thanks for your help,
Jason

Render and Print to Tape using the Capture Utility. Output through firewire and set the Canopus to output via S-Video and the Audio Cables into the VTR.
Hook up a monitor AFTER the VTR and adjust your equipment settings until you can view the video on the monitor as the file plays from Print to Tape.
If you can see it on the monitor, you can record it on the VTR.

ONLY if your have a fire wire output card you can print directly to tape from the time line. You should select the area you need to print and select from the menu tools -print video to dv tape-. Vegas will render only the area you have applied FX or has been changed. First record it to your digital camera and then to your VHS tape.

Azul,
there's no need to copy to the digital camera and THEN to VHS!
You just use the pass through capability on the camera or in this case the ADVC-100.
