Just say yes or OK and let it do it's thing. It will render to DV avi automatically and this the correct format.

Render as .AVI file using DV NTSC (unless you are in europe and are PAL standard)

Also, check to make sure you did not accidentally move one of the video sliders below 100%. This will cause that message to appear. I NEVER get that message unless I have accidentally changed the slider below 100%.
