I have set up a second soundcard on my computer so as to record from the PRO52 prophet-5 softsynth straight into vegas. I have the input set to my original soundcard (Creative SoundBlaster) and the output set to my new card (SoundBlaster Live) - so in Vegas, I have the input and output cards set to the SoundBlaster Live - but when I record onto vegas using the computer synth, the particular track records not only what I'm playing on the synth, but also every other track, thus there is severe bleed-through of all the tracks onto that one track. I have WAVE selected on my recording control for the Soundblaster. If I choose MIDI, the only thing that records is the piano note coming from the synth - no filter or oscillation. Does anyone know if my card settings are wrong - I've played with them and the only way I can record the synth to vegas is the aforementioned configuration. Thanks.
