I have acquired a nice oldish--looking "Recording" lamp, for my studio area. Any thoughts as how to automate this from Vegas ?

An MMC mains switcher, a printer port controller ? Something else (other than a separate physical switch) ?

Also, it would be really nice (for confidence) to have the Record button in the transport control light or flash while recording - the screen event drawing isn't always immediate.
