When I record the drums with 6 simultaneous mics I also like to play back
a rhythm that is on another vegas track so that I can keep in perfect time
and thus sync in sounds from Acid that I create. When I do this, everything
records fine, however, while listening to the rhythm track, the computer
has short lags or 'hiccups', thus making it impossible to play along with it.
Is there any performance metrics I can alter or open up to alleviate this?
I have a 400mhz SCSI computer with 128MB of RAM.
It would be wonderful if I could solve this!!
